Hero Relics and Memories for Ice-fire Gemma
Torchlight Infinite’s Blacksail update brings a new mechanic to further make our heroes powerful. These are our hero relics and memories for Ice-fire Gemma that will make her strong.

Our primary hero relic would be the Heart of Absolute Fusion, which has three memory slots. You are going to focus on stacking memories with fire damage as well as increasing critical strike damage and spell critical strike rating.
- Heart of Absolute Fusion
- Masterpiece of the “Doctor”
- Elemental Fusion Component
- Ice Embraces Fire

Best Ice-fire Talents Setup
For our talents, generally speaking, we are focusing on creating a battlemage with Gemma as she is able to dish out damage while having enough defenses to survive hits.
You’re going to start with the God of Might tree. Tenacity will be your main hero talent to take once you reach Level 10, and Fueling at Level as we want to focus on survival while dealing damage.
God of Might

Quick Tip: Tenacity will be converted with the Sacrifice talent for additional attack speed and area damage.
Bloodstriker
Next Talent tree should be the Bloodstriker with Sacrifice and Survival Will.

Warlord
Lastly take the Warlord tree with Rock and Focused Strike.

Best Pact Spirits for Ice-fire Gemma

Our best Pactspirit recommendations for Gemma include skills such as attack, attack speed, critical strike rating, and multistrike. If you do manage to get a Melting Flames pact spirit then that will be a great addition as it amplifies fire damage, fire penetration and fire area.

The image below would be the Pactspirit tree slot allotment. It focuses exclusively on attack and critical strike rating as the main allotment points in the inner, middle and outer rings.

Recommended Skills for Building Ice-fire Gemma

Fearless Warcry is a combo starter that should draw enemies to you. It should be followed by Bull’s Rage, which should increase your attack speed and attack radius, and then by Life Source, which should heal you over time. Do note that it will stop healing you when your life is maxed out. That’s when killing monsters should charge it as you spam Flame Slash as a wide-range sweeper to the front.
Positioning yourself towards the monsters will allow for maximum damage; be careful of being flanked, as then you have to move out and reset the combo.

Flame Slash is your primary damage skill that would clear waves. Combine Raging Slash, Elemental Fusion, Steamroll, Slash Duet and Critical Strike Rating Increase.

Flame Slash’s damage per second at Level 80 would reflect this base number from this guide in combination with equipment, pactspirits and talents.
Life Source will be our main healing skill used after Bull’s Rage. It’s support skills would be Emergency Restoration, Residues and Armor Infusion.

Spiral Strike combined with Quick Mobility and Hardened will be a useful skill to fall back on when you are surrounded to do more extra damage before repositioning.

Fearless Warcry with Powerful Warcry, Cost Conversion and Lion’s Roar will amplify the area, reduce mana cost and help draw enemies to your center to be hit.

Bull’s Rage with Mania, Deathwill, Soul Focus, and Extended Duration makes the main skill stronger and last longer.

Death’s Pact with Bloodthirst, Fearless, and Thunderlight Field will be great skills to have against elite monsters.

Cast on Critical Strike with Blizzard, Seal Conversion, and Fixate are good skills to have for an all offensive build.

Curse on Hit with Scorch and Abysmal Hatred will add additional target damage to the area.

Energy Allocation

Your energy allocation when you reach level 80 is primarily focused on your main damage skill, all others would take up energy according to the image above.
